Portland has been snowed in for days.  We usually don’t get all that much snow here, but this last storm was a doozy!  I have been using my time off well.  I have read three books and took the bus to the movie theater and saw Hidden Figures (really good) and spent a lot of time crafting.  My rug is about 4″ bigger and I have a bunch of new cards.  

For Christmas my friend gave me a gift card to Joanne’s (she is a great friend, indeed). I promptly spent it 😜. I got a cool bird punch.  Now, what to do with little birds?  Birdday cards.  I used cute paper to make the birds and used a heart punch to make wings.  It was a co-worker’s birthday and we needed a card, so I made her a Birdday birthday card.  Turned out so cute I made some more!

The stamping was a bit tricky as I used stamps with longer sayings to get my happy and my day.  I used a Stampin Up! marker to ink up just the words I wanted. Worked like a charm.
